INCLUDES NEWLY HALF-SPEED MASTERED ALBUMS, ADDITIONAL 48-PAGE BOOK, PLUS POSTERS AND PRINTS SET FOR RELEASE ON 21st AUGUST 2026

‘Anthology of Sombre Reflections’ is an expansive and comprehensive collection of the early and much-celebrated works of the Doom Gods, from the formative deathly rawness of the revered ‘Towards the Sinister’ demo, ‘God is Alone’ 7” tracks and subsequent debut album, ‘As the Flower Withers’, through to the gothic-tinged funereal seductive delights of 1996’s highlight, ‘Like Gods of the Sun’.
With the addition of all-time genre classic opuses ‘Turn Loose the Swans’, and ‘The Angel and the Dark River’ also representing My Dying Bride’s much-loved early to mid-90’s period, the band’s three cult EPs are also featured in this deluxe eight-vinyl boxset, with each record presented on 180gm heavyweight black vinyl. The four studio albums themselves have also been treated to new half-speed masters courtesy of Air Studios.
Accompanying the audio is a 48-page book featuring photographs and artwork, plus new interviews with Andrew Craighan and Aaron Stainthorpe conducted in 2025 exploring some of the influences and thought-processes behind the creation of such cherished works of the 90s, as well as reflections of their output over this period.
‘Anthology of Sombre Reflections’ also contains 2 large posters depicting the ‘Turn Loose the Swans’ CD artwork image, plus the original poster included in ‘As the Flower Withers’. A selection of photo prints of the band from this era are also included.

SPECIAL THIRTIETH ANNIVERSARY PRESSING OF MY DYING BRIDE’S REVERED 1995 DOOM OPUS THE ANGEL & THE DARK RIVER. PRESENTED ON LIMITED PEARL SUNRISE VINYL, WITH NEW HALF-SPEED AUDIO MASTER
My Dying Bride has been one of the foremost & consistent leading lights in doom metal since their debut album As The Flower Withers was released on Peaceville Records back in 1992. Influenced by acts such as Celtic Frost and Candlemass, the band’s heavy atmospherics have carved a huge worldwide following over the years to stand at the pinnacle of the genre, and remain one of the most instantly distinguishable metal bands.
The Angel and the Dark River, My Dying Bride’s third studio album, was released in 1995 and is considered to be among the highlights of the whole Doom Metal genre; the opus itself being a significant breakthrough release for the band. The album was recorded at the infamous Academy Studios (Paradise Lost, Anathema, Cradle of Filth) in Yorkshire, UK, with long-time associate, Mags. Expanding upon the strong mix of atmosphere and heavy doom riffing of previous albums, The Angel and the Dark River was full of sprawling emotional epic tracks with flowing dynamics, which also saw My Dying Bride venturing further into clean vocal territory and to great acclaim.
This special pressing of The Angel and the Dark River marks the album’s thirtieth anniversary, and is presented on limited Pearl Sunrise vinyl, including new half-speed audio master courtesy of Air Studios.

Evinta (MMXX)
Limited edition 30th anniversary vinyl edition released December 4th
Rightly hailed as one of the most instrumental & influential forces in doom metal since their inception in 1990, UK legends My Dying Bride have forged an illustrious career through a flawless discography of immaculately crafted, haunting art.
Now marking the thirtieth year of My Dying Bride with this special vinyl release, Aaron Stainthorpe describes the new edition “Evinta is a reworking and a re-thinking of some of My Dying Bride’s best compositions, we brought together some outstanding classical musicians as well as opera singer Lucie Roche for the venture. It was directed by myself, Andrew Craighan and Jonny Maudling and the music comes together with all the pomp you would expect from such a project, featuring violins, grand piano, cellos a variety of woodwind and brass instruments as well as new lyrics. A recent discovery from this recording session was a cover version of our song ‘The Cry of Mankind’ with all new instrumentation and a differing vocal approach which gives the song an altogether majestic and ethereal sound.” Aaron Stainthorpe
This edition of ‘Evinta (MMXX)’ is presented on the vinyl format for the very first time and includes gatefold sleeve with updated cover art & layout courtesy of Aaron Stainthorpe himself. ‘Evinta’ appears on double limited red/black vinyl.

A Harvest of Dread
A deluxe 92-page 12” hardback book on the rise of the UK doom metal legends. Containing 5 discs of rarities, early works, newly unearthed & never-previously-heard pre-production demos, band track favourites, & live audio.
Aaron Stainthorpe: “I am astounded at the body of work this outfit has created over quarter of a century but immensely proud too. From humble beginnings of demo tape, draughty rehearsal rooms and transit vans up to the heady heights of digi-packs, hotels and tour buses, we’ve done just about everything a rock n roll band is supposed to do. Members have come and gone, some lost forever and others staying in touch and all, thankfully, still friendly and welcoming.
I look back at our extensive career, much of it laid out here for all to see in this impressive collection and feel strong and thrilled at what our output has achieved. There surely is something for everyone scripted here within A Harvest of Dread as it’s been hand-picked by the band and a select number of friends who know better. And if this isn’t enough, we are working on new material already so that, perhaps in another 25 years, we may be sat here again doing something very similar”
